Getting Started...

So, here I am starting another blog. I've tried to blog in the past and failed miserably, mostly because I don't feel like I have anything to say. I do, however, have a lot to say about food, so maybe this will work better! I'm going to try to post at least once a week with thoughts on food; the delicious, the epic screw-ups, the greasy-enough-to-give-me-a-heart-attack-but-totally-worth-it, you know. A little of everything.

Ground Rules:

I want my friends to remain anonymous, so I'll refer to them by initials- You'll mostly be seeing Hubs (or some other obvious reference to my husband), and probably quite a bit of G and L, maybe some C&C or the occasional M or S. If you're one of these people... I hope your pants are a bit snugger and your belly a bit happier. If not, you'd better let me know so I can fix whatever went wrong...

Also, I reserve the right to not share recipes. This isn't a recipe blog, so much as it is a "LETS ALL TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH WE LOVE FOOD!!" blog. Call me selfish, but there are some recipes that just have to retain top-secret, swear you'll take this with you to your grave status. Others, however, I'll be happy to share.

Last: I just gotta say it. Alton Brown is my hero. You'll probably see links to lots of "Good Eats" clips. What can I say, the man is informative, if a bit cheesy. I also love butter, so Julia Child and Paula Deen are both fair game as well.
